ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - 35 year old Cane Garden Bay resident, Tifern Henley, who was before the Magistrate's Court on charges related to attempting to kidnap a woman and two children, heard that he is not the 'worst of the bunch'.

This was said in the Magistrate's Court on May 15, 2017 by Magistrate Ayanna O. Baptiste-DaBreo as she made the decision to grant Henley pre-trial liberty at $50,000 with signed surety.

The magistrate; however, ordered him to seek counselling and did hasten to note the accused had a protection order out against him, which was also mentioned by his attorney Stephen R. Daniels, who also assured the court that his client was not going to interfere with the complainant.

The complainant is Henley 's ex girlfriend. She has accused him of entering her home on May 7, 2017 at around 1:00 AM.

But Henley pleaded not guilty and is set to give a different story during his upcoming trial.

The alleged ordeal

The former girlfriend of Henley allegedly told police that she woke up in the early morning hours and went to her kitchen when she discovered her ex there. She was at the time at her Towers resident with her two little children of which one is Henley's.

The story was told that the accused assaulted the woman, dealing her multiple blows about her face and other parts of her upper body.

He also allegedly dragged her about the house before forcing her and the two children into her vehicle. As he drove off he allegedly slammed into a gate and his ex girlfriend managed to escape but the man continued to drive away with the children. A few yards off he crashed into another vehicle at which point he abandoned the vehicle, leaving the children and made good his escape.

The court was told that neighbours went to the children's aid and the matter was reported to police. The woman was treated at Peebles hospital for injuries and sent home.

Henley's next court appearance is July 14, 2017.

Listen to the songs and watch the videos. The Rap and Hip Hop culture are poison.

The question we have to ask our self today where is the justice for victims of abuse. Tifern Henley not only allegedly responsible for the violent act he committed on his ex- girlfriend, when about the two innocent children who's lives he put at risk. That magistrate must be his friend to give him bail and tell him he' s not the worst of the bunch. Where is the advocate for women and children of abuse?
