Heroes & She-roes replaced by Empty Promises: Thanks – It has been a while and some have flattered me by saying the last article was so good that it drained me – Not really and with so much wrong happening to our youth, it’s impossible not to see their suffering and feel their pain - With the death of so many friends these past weeks have been very emotional but I’m still on ZROD & ZVCR, Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.

Sadly, at the rate we are losing our local heroes and she-roes, soon there will be ‘no children of yesterday to advise our children of today how best to prepare their children of tomorrow for survival in a harsh and unfriendly world’… We watch this System of Terror grow as best friends are programmed to become worst enemies and Gods are called on by man so devils may rule.

There is no doubt as to whether or not we are better off now than we were centuries or even decades ago and it is clear that we cannot afford to abandon this struggle for survival when, from vagrant to merchant, we hear the cries of fear and despondency as the corruption and greed of our leaders and financial Institutions continue to erode our rights, our comfort and our confidence.

We are fed empty promises of democracy while they ensure segregation and discrimination by using race and religion as deciding factors for denying rights and privileges of brothers and sisters. This is not new; we are perpetual victims of a system where Missionaries & Explorers labeled Native Majorities as Godless Minorities so they could enslave and devalue the lives of others.

As Law condones the Power of Corruption & Oppression:

No wonder America and Israel base their existence on pursuing imaginary foes and, even as OJ Simpson was hounded for generations for the alleged killing of a white couple, we still find the murders of Palestinian Arafat and Afro-Americans Trayvon Martin and Renisha McBride treated as incidental footnotes in which no one is expected to face any consequences for their actions.

We share a similar fate at home when the wicked and corrupt are exalted by the suppression of those who would do good and evil hides in shadows of daylight only to emerge in darkness of night to lay claim to fabricated efforts… Although we may expect our adults to see through the lies and hypocrisy, too often we find these false eulogies and pisstories used to mislead our youth.

This failure to face reality is already subjecting many to undue hardship as government agencies raid private companies for recruited employees instead of using locals to fill their own posts…

The Labour Code cites this practice as illegal but instead of the Public Prosecutor and Attorney General Chambers addressing such corruption, the open abuse of the weak by the powerful marches on.

Such corruption is the source of depression and it’s all around us… You may have seen an article in which the Complaints Office appears to acknowledge injustice being done by a Governmental Medical Agency to the registration application of a foreign Physician – Chances are this is a case I spoke of some 2-years ago and a trend of corruption that is worsening.

In fact if the Complaints Office had given full details you would have learnt that this behavior was conducted by members who are not only associated with the Health Services Authority but appeared more interested in creating their own private medical business and had taken steps to corrupt the Labour Department to a point where law was fractured and credibility lost.

Even this is likely to worsen as the poorly envisioned NHIS and HSA appear to feel that their own survival depends on the complete destruction of private providers who either do not realize this or falsely hope that by lying-low they will not be targeted – Of course they will be proven wrong since scavengers habitually feed on the weak and dead before attacking the active and living.

Shepherds eat more Sheep than Wolves:

We have always known of the physical, mental and even cancerous ailments that can result from clinical depression but there are still those amongst us who will turn blind eyes and deaf ears even as they suffer depression from all the oppression - maybe they prefer death to freedom…

Sooner rather than later we will run out of our hats of denial and sacks of excuses.

No matter how upset you may get because I say our Leaders appear to hate us, the facts are:

#1.. These are hard times and no one will help us if we refuse to help ourselves. #2.. We cannot survive by likening ourselves to sheep depending on shepherds for protection from wolves when shepherds have always slaughtered and devoured far more sheep than the wolves do.

However, like days of old, greed appears to run the world and with so few believers in fairness and justice I deeply appreciate persons brave enough to stand with me against the Laws of Slavery - those who fail to understand the seriousness of what I have been saying should carefully note the following synopsis from Wikipedia as regards a typical Slave Law of the Eighteen Hundreds.

As Slave Laws target Freedom Fighters:

According to this ‘Fugitive Slave Act of 1850’ any Police/Federal Marshal who did not arrest an alleged runaway slave was liable to a fine of $1,000 (about $28,000 in present-day value)… As a result, Law-enforcement Officials had a duty to arrest anyone suspected of being a runaway slave and no more evidence was needed than a Slave Master’s sworn testimony of ownership.

Whether this was true or false, the suspected slave could not ask for a Jury trial or testify on his or her own behalf especially since anyone seen as aiding a runaway slave would be subject to a fine of $1,000 and six months' imprisonment… At the same time, Officers who captured suspected fugitive slaves were entitled to bonuses and promotions for their efforts.

Any and everyone can clearly see that since slaves had no rights in court and could not defend themselves against accusations, it was easy for the system to be corrupted; especially when all the Police/Federal Marshals need to capture or arrest any alleged escape slave was the statement of a Slave Owner… Consequently, many free Blacks were knowingly forced back into Slavery.

Therefore, be it understood that any law in which the accused have no chance of a fair trial is the same as ‘Slavery Laws of the 18th and 19th Centuries’ and a glimpse at our existing system will reveal that while today’s laws have different names, the message and intent remains the same –

To understand this is to understand why we remain targeted for refusing to be For Sale.

PS:… I will continue addressing some of your Questions & Comments on Live BVP Radio Programmes
