Teen Charged with Aggravated Burglary

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is reporting that it has charged Tyrell Samuels, 18, with an offence of Aggravated Burglary.
The charge laid yesterday November 5, 2013 follow the forensic examination of a home in Baughers Bay where the occupants were confronted by an attacker in early September. During the incident, a single shot was fired from a handgun wielded by the attacker, although there were no injuries reported as a result.
Samuels remains in Police custody until a court appearance this afternoon.
The firearm has not been recovered.
