JOE'S HILL, Tortola, VI- A Suzuki Vitara today April 25, 2016 caught fire on Joe's Hill and the owner said he is baffled as to why the vehicle went up in flames as he claims he serviced it recently.

Virgin Islands News Online was told that four persons were in the vehicle at the time and they had been heading to Cane Garden Bay when the vehicle started to burn.

When this news site arrived on the scene, ranks of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) were conducting their investigations.

According to the ranks there were no injuries as a result of the fire, which was contained to the front of the vehicle.

        Very much so. While the jury is out on what happened, that should be the FIRST place an investigation should take place since we know that mechanics, much like anyone else in the repair industry are prone to cutting corners in order to finish one job and move on to the next.

        Not all mechanics are like this, but it does happen.

    Vehicle fires and cancer rates are at an epidemic level in the BVI. Something is not right here. Some investigating needs to be done.
