Suzuki turns over @ Fort Hill

FORT HILL, Tortola, VI – A driver escaped with minor injuries when the Suzuki Vitara he was driving toppled over along Fort Hill this evening May 19, 2014.

Word reaching this news site indicates that the incident occurred sometime after 7:00pm. 

It is not clear if the driver was assisted by passersby or nearby residents but by the time Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) and the Fire Service arrived on the scene, the man had already made his way to safety and was on the side of the road awaiting to be taken to the Peebles Hospital. 

Passersby who were plying the route sometime after the accident said that the three care units - Police, Fire and Ambulance were on the scene and a large crowd had gathered.
