PORT PURCELL, Tortola, VI – The beginning of the new work week was ushered in with a ‎motor vehicle accident that resulted in the damage of a fence and building at Port Purcell, Tortola this morning, September 26, 2016.

The accident occurred shortly after 6:00 A.M. and, according to eyewitnesses, ‎no one was seriously hurt.

"She [driver] come from over there (pointing to the road behind BVI communication), scaled the partition in the road and into the fence and this building," an eyewitness to the accident told this news site.

The vehicle ploughed into the building that houses the CrossFit Castaway Gym.

"Like she panic cause like when she realised what going on the jeep on the building and she foot still on the gas," another said.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after and began their investigation.

    Things like these happen on the road as accidents come in various forms this could have been any driver and when people blog and make so silly and unfriendly remarks is as if we are gods here on earth. No one knows what happened to the driver in terms of the state of her health at that particular moment, perhaps an early morning dramatic spirit along the roadside, and much more. Please be sympathethic as we are all either drivers,passerbys or passengers and no one knows what the future holds.
