Surveyor accused of stealing vehicle sticker
Winston Harrigan, 42, of Sea Cows Bay, did not offer a plea to the charge of theft of a sticker belonging to another person’s vehicle. He was unrepresented at the time.
According to the allegations read by the prosecutor, the Virtual Complainant (VC) left his vehicle with his brother when the sticker was allegedly stolen.
According to the Police complaint filed, the incident reportedly occurred between March 29 and April 13 of 2013.
The allegations further stated that on May 15, 2013 a black pickup was seized in the vicinity of Pockwood Pond.
The defendant contacted Police and identified the truck as his and the Traffic Department was also contacted.
The sticker on the vehicle was confirmed as belonging to another vehicle. The defendant was then met by Police and informed of the allegations and arrested under suspicion of stealing.
He allegedly told investigators: “Me just wrong, me aint thief it but ah got to deal with what ah got to deal with.”
Harrigan is to return to court on December 13, 2013.

The man is a surveyor...so this is not about hard times. Shameful.
Who do you want to replace the NDP? And why? You answers should be interesting.
@ Raw Digger.. go look work where? does it have any f$%^ging jobs? if it does have jobs they are already taken by the families of NDP! now put that in your pipe and smoke it! I'm not saying he's right..but with this lil pay check on the 15th and 30th , which a lot of tax is deducted ,also Bupa is deducted and bupa don't f$%^&*g work! by time you pay rent and other bills you're left with NOTHING! NO money to license and insure your vehicle but you still need a vehicle to get to work and drop your kids to school ! £$%^ the NDP , they are for themselves and family ONLY!
VIP gave you BUPA so hush your dumb a**. Look in the papers online there are hundreds of jobs. show me one local willing to work and can't find work at all, You can't show me one that's a lie. Things are hard for everyone but we can still get by until it gets better. Government can't fix an economy the only thing they can do is put things in place for investment to come but guess what? ass**** like you call the government sell outs when they invite people in to spend money. The BVI was built on foreign investments, Little Dix, Harneys and other foundation investmnets, that's how it was built and the only way it will continue to grow is with the same mixture. Thank god we didn't have such ass*** and idiots back in the day or else...
