CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, VI — A man named Ricardo Rhymer, 33, of Agnes Fancy, St Thomas, USVI was arrested and charged with third degree assault after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend with a pocket knife, V.I.P.D. Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman announced on Wednesday March 30, 2016.

According to Ms. Freeman, Mr. Rhymer was arrested after he was identified by the victim as the person who stabbed her in her stomach, causing multiple lacerations.

No bail was set for Mr. Rhymer, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

      These women really need to investigate the men they are choosing as mates. Bring back the old days when they wined and dined you, so in a respectable space of time, you get to know them and their families before you accept them into your life. Some men are dangerous and show their best side to get the woman and then think they own her. Another point is, women are having sex with these strangers so quickly and don't know from whence they came.

    I am single and I love it. I would rather be lonely than to be with someone that is going to make my life hell. I have a cute cat name max and a cute Maltese name Cody. I enjoy being around them better than I enjoy being around humans because they are loyal and they don't hurt you.

      That is so true, Animals is loyal, they don't betray or hurt you. I am about to adopt a cat and a dog from the shelter.

        I really and truly do not know how to feel about these comments. It is rather scary that you would compare a lover/spouse to an animal. I mean I love animals! I think they are loyal and loving creatures, but when compared to a human who is suppose to satisfy your personal needs, I don't know how to feel about this. Unless they are satisfying your needs, smfh, lol and the comments have a good amount of likes too!. Scarier.

          Wait a minute Jack.ss, the person did not compare her pets to a man. She said she prefer to have/be around pets than humans. A lot of people is like that. And for you to suggest that she is messing with her pets is just plain out stupid. If she choose to have pets over a relationship that is her damn business. Don't blame her one bit.
