St kitts-Nevis PM Timothy S. Harris to visit VI October 20-24, 2016

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- For the first time after being elected as St Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister under a Team Unity Coalition Government on February 18, 2015, Dr The Honourable Timothy S. Harris will be in the Virgin Islands.

While most of the trip to the British Overseas Territory by the Caribbean Leader will be on private business he will hold a public Town Hall Meeting on Saturday October 22, 2016 with nationals of St Kitts-Nevis to update them on progress made by his Team Unity led Administration.

The meeting, which starts at 8:00 P.M., will be at the Althea Scatliffe Primary School in Road Town, the Virgin Islands capital city.

His trip is expected to include a courtesy call on Acting Premier Dr The Honourable Kedrick D. Pickering (R7) and Leader of the Opposition Hon Julian Fraser RA, (R3), along with radio and TV interviews.

Prime Minister Harris will be accompanied by Mr Duncan Wattley, his new Director of Peoples Empowerment and Diaspora Affairs.

It was in 2015 when Prime Minister Harris ended the 20 year rule [1995-2015] of former Prime Minister of St Kitts-Nevis and now Opposition Leader Dr Denzil L. Douglas. 

Weeks before the 2015 Federation of St Kitts and Nevis election, Hon Harris made a campaign swing to the VI which was facilitated by the marketing and political consulting firm of Advance Marketing and Professional Services.
