BELLE VUE, Tortola, VI – Taking a break for BVI Spring Fest, the Hon Alvera Maduro-Caines (R6) sponsored Zone 6 Basketball Tournament will return on Friday March 11, 2016 with the Playoff Series at the Belle Vue Gym.

The final weekend of the regular season saw Squad Up confirm the final playoff berth with a 109 - 93 victory over Starz, whilst the other scheduled game was a forfeiture win for Run It Red against East.

Squad Up had been forced to wait until the final game after suffering a 97 – 93 loss to Run It Red the previous weekend, whilst Stars had seen their hopes of a post season severely dampened when a buzzer beating two pointer saw them lose 98-97 to Live and Direct.

The Playoff begins with game one in the best of 3 series between Run it Red and Baughers Bay. That game will be followed by Lions against Squad Up.

During half time of the first game, organisers will be holding a three point shootout and during halftime of game two- a slam dunk contest.
