DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- Moments ago, October 29, 2016, Splash Brothers swept West Gunners with the narrowest of wins, 79-78, in game two, to lift their first ever Championship Trophy at the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed Basketball League.

MVP Steve E. Parillon inspired his team with yet another tremendous performance, just as in game one on Friday, and the West Gunners failed in their attempt to become the first repeat Champions.

The game at the Save the Seed Energy Centre was electric from start to finish, with each team full of heroes, but on the night and what a night it was, the Splash Brothers put their coaching and internal struggles from the regular season aside to become worthy 2016 Champions.

Meanwhile, Ghut Boys were also crowned champions of the Junior Division following their defeat of Junior Starz.

More to follow.

You all just like story. i don't know about the present minister but I know the past minister's mother was hospitalized and she is currently overseas. Fahie is right where he needs to be with his mother. You get enough news now.

I dont know how much they were up, but I saw when he left in the third and the commentator was saying it was a blowout. Not sure how the coaches could have figured they could win a game by just driving and depending on the whistle to decide the game, no one (other than Ray) in the game to hit consistent shots. From seeing you play in VG and Town league, those chumps really dont know that you are a championship player. Sorry Nickels, they did you bad. Glad you made them pay for their ignorance/insolence. Next year show them what time it is...on a bigger and better team. One luv.
