Juliana E. Georges is a First Form student who joined St George’s Secondary School after completing her primary education at the St George’s Primary School. She was born in the South of London, England on September 17, 2003 and moved to the Virgin Islands later that year.

Juliana started her primary school education at the Century House Montessori School in Diamond Estate where she spent three years. She then attended the St George’s Primary School and graduated in 2014.

This special St George’s Secondary School student is said to be a hardworking and dedicated student who attends school every day and is focused on learning. Her favorite subjects are Science, Spanish, History and Information Technology.

With a display of maturity, Juliana takes learning seriously and often researches class topics to get a greater understanding and applies what she has learnt to new ideas. She has gained greater confidence in all her subjects during this term, persevering with the work and concepts until she is satisfied.

Juliana is a student who is consistent, pleasant and has always been respectful to her classmates, teachers and others with whom she comes into contact.

The Student of the Month enjoys the comfortable and secure environment that St George’s Secondary School offers. She believes that this environment helps her to focus and fosters her learning. In addition to this, Juliana believes that her class assignments and presentations, although challenging at times, maintain her interest and she credits her teachers for encouraging her to strive in her studies. She also credits the safe environment at school with allowing her to be more self-assertive.

Juliana is an aspiring artist who enjoys drawing, painting and craft. She has always enjoyed reading and continues to be an avid reader. Her love for animals is portrayed in the nurturing of her many pets. She is also an amateur gymnast and novice photographer with much of her spare time spent photographing nature and doing yoga.

This exceptional student is still not certain what career she wishes to pursue but she is confident that her time at St George’s Secondary School will steer her along the path to becoming the best at whatever she eventually chooses.
