Slaves & Dinosaurs Part 2.

Last week I suggested you researched some issues instead of just believing what ‘mouths’ may say but all indications are that you would rather sit and wait on me for information. While this may sound good to some it is actually contrary to the mission because I do not have all the answers and my own desire is to learn from others as much or more than they learn from me.

Anyone who feels comfortable or even proud being ‘apart from the world instead of being a part of the World’ is not only likely to believe that too little knowledge is ‘enough already’ but have condemned themselves to being Slaves & Dinosaurs.  No wonder when I speak of daylight issues such as our West Indians’ national dress being replicas of slave attire they ridicule me.

They chastise me for seeing things they claim others do not instead of asking the others how come they do not see since these things are not hidden and all needed is to open our eyes & look. I am no more special than you and if, in & out of government, I rescued our people from dreadful schemes there is no reason why you too cannot make the same effort to help yourselves.

We know it will not be easy because they much prefer us as sheep. Some did not hesitate to suggest I was kicked off ZBVI for being too controversial since they needed me pre-silenced incase government had questionable schemes pending or the Courts & others planned to rule against me unjustly or religions seemed scared because the ordinary man was asking questions.

In the beginning I strongly doubted this until documents, communications & events occurred around the same time ZBVI terminated my Program and it became hard to believe that all this activity was mere coincidence. Some of this came from the Complaints Commission that had repeatedly harassed me to file a complaint because they saw the grave injustice being done to me.

Now, if you know my record you know that I have never been a supporter for creating that Office but I am also a believer in giving persons a chance to prove themselves so after they kept nagging me I reluctantly gave them the go ahead. Unfortunately, my original belief appears to be right for instead of being the victim they said I was, they now virtually paint me as victimizer.

They appear to have forgotten I repeatedly told them the system was corrupt and I expected no help from them or maybe they thought once ZBVI dropped me the public would never know the facts of the matter thus leaving them nothing to fear in doing a switcheroo in favour of systems they claimed to see as being unjust. Sad but their decision is no surprise – Just another lesson.

Fact is basic research of evidence depicts a direct family connection in the victimization of my Company- 1st by willfully blocking our construction even when it was approved by the Premier and 2nd by blocking employment of qualified personnel to staff our District Offices that were set up to better serve the People - The Commission claimed ‘they saw this before they didn’t see it’.

As usual I was cautioned of the need to ‘go along to get along’ but as you know I’m not for sale and this should not be about me but all about fairness & justice. Instead we face an apparent dysfunctional office sucking up monies that can be better used to educate our children and prevent government raising taxes & fees on the poor in order to pay for waste & incompetence.

Of course they would say I’m wrong so it’s only fair that you ask for real evidence to support their conclusion, fully understanding their need to justify their actions &existence because if they are unable to you will recognize the case of an office created to help people betraying that trust. Again, I was not seeking their help – They forced it on me and even then they screwed it up.

Now, were they truly functional they would be addressing concerns of persons that have approached me regarding the instantaneous 600% increase in costs for Entry Visas for selected Countries. Originally I doubted this claim but research supports it as true and not only affecting working adults but also school children and infants. I have found no easements or exemptions.

Further research suggested this was agreed to by both parties, deemed to be fair and arrived at by following in the footsteps of other countries. This should frighten everyone because it means we the people have no independent thinkers as representatives and are being proxy-governed by the practice of ‘follow fashion’. Somehow we have forgotten that no one leads from behind.

Fact is, real leadership happens from in front and involves making tough but wise decisions - Justice Roberts learnt this in time to preserve his legacy and our own leaders can best secure their legacies (not by seeing how low they can bend our people to those in authority or how much they can force us to prepare for imaginary heavens but) how we treat & respect our fellow men.

I have never agreed with the selective blacklisting of our caribbean brothers & sisters while leaving an open door policy for others who may mean us much more harm. I fought to ensure none of this happened during my short term because such an immigration policy is a mere ‘monkey see monkey do’ practice that is hateful, self defeating & fosters no reciprocal benefits.

Any reasoned human rights approach would show it is wrong to arbitrarily select a group of people for collective victimization for no offense they have committed as individuals. This act suggests the use of discrimination for victimization as a form of hidden taxation which in turn makes it unjust & contrary to human rights rules & dignity of UK, United Nations & CariCom.

This is a mistake and true leaders will correct this matter without hesitation. You too should add this to your neglected assignment of last week for unless our people research & reason for themselves they will remain as Slaves & Dinosaurs; misled by leaders lacking vision to look across the world so they may learn of the good, bad & ugly without feeling obliged to follow.
