ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Courtney Fahie aka Dudu Man, who allegedly stormed into the bedroom of a woman armed with a knife late last year, was sentenced to six months in prison when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on April 5, 2012.

Senior Magistrate Valerie Stephens sentenced him to six months for criminal trespass and one month for being armed with an offensive weapon. The sentences are to run concurrently.

Fahie landed in trouble after it is alleged that on November 19, 2011 at Hope Hill, he allegedly entered the home of a woman without her consent.

The VC, who is allegedly from the Dominican Republic, told Police that she was asleep in her bedroom when she heard a sound and awoke to find the defendant in her bedroom with gloves on and a knife in his hand.

Furthermore, the Crown claimed that the VC called her brother, who also saw the Fahie before he ran out of the house, allegedly leaving the knife behind. The knife was reportedly recovered in the woman’s closet.

In his defense, Fahie informed police that the VC had called him to her house to talk and when questionned about the knife, he reportedly told Police that he uses it to do his work.
