FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI — A drive-by shooting in Clifton Hill in St Croix, United States Virgin Islands (USVI) on Saturday night, July 9, 2016 left one man dead and another injured, [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (V.I.P.D.) Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman announced late Sunday, July 10, 2016.

According to Ms. Freeman, citing a police report, at about 9:49 p.m. Saturday the 911 emergency call center dispatched officers to Clifton Hill in response to a report of gunfire.

Upon arrival to the area, detectives discovered spent shell casings in the roadway. The fatheless young men in our society need prayers. They are lijkely the ones who are committing these acts of violence. The crime ridden communities in the USVI are like South Side Chicargo.
