ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – If you are still thirsty for more even after the Top 7@7 Music Awards, a perfect quencher is the Shine-I Album Debut Explosion this evening Sunday March 4, 2012 at La Piazza, Prospect Reef.

According to Shine-I, all the artistes from out of the Territory are here and persons can expect a beautiful show that is aimed at promoting one word -“love”.

The occasion is to celebrate the launch of Shine-I’s debut album “The Foundation”.

Among those set to perform on Sunday night are Jah Vinci of Jamaica, Infamus of St. Kitts and Mada Nile from St. Croix while the VI’s very own Capable, Empress Ruth, Imo, Ritical and Maccabee, who is featured on the album, will also be performing.

Shine-I, born Darius Semper, released his first album ‘The Foundation’ on Thursday January 12, 2012. The album consists of 14 tracks and includes popular songs such as ‘I Got it Bad’, ‘I Know’ and ‘Bright N Morning Star’. However, Shine-I plans to have a more colourful launching of the album tomorrow night.

“This event will endorse the album and local talent. I believe it is a positive way to endorse music into society and celebrate the calibre of talent that we as artistes hold. This is our Jah given talent and it comes natural for us like daily routines and we want to celebrate that,” Shine-I said.

The entire album or single tracks are available for download on http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/shinei.

According to Shine-I, he has structured this event to be one that could compete beyond the Virgin Islands and in doing so, has employed the services of some of the VI’s best musicians, entertainers and production specialists.

The night’s MC would be Paul “Gadiethz” Peart of The Morning Ride Show; sounds would be provided by DJ Fabio and DJ Spliff of IntraTech Soundz; while the night’s band would be The Hardcore Band out of Virgin Gorda – comprised of “The Foundation” Producer Marcus “YungBlood” Mark on keyboards and programming, Frandy Martin on drums, Dean “Bassie” Alexander on bass guitar and fellow local artists Martino “Tino” Mark and Makisha “Queen Makisha” Gordon singing background vocals. Stage, sound and lighting will be provided by Frontline Systems.

Meanwhile, Jamaican artiste Jah Vinci burst onto the scene in 2008 with Weh Dem A Guh, a collaboration with Vybz Kartel. Since then he has recorded songs such as Money, Watch Yuh Friends, Wipe Those Tears, Guide Me, Mi Know and Mama Love.

Infamus has captured many hearts with his hit singles 21 Gun Salute, Feel Like Crying, and Gonna Make It.
