Sex, threats rock VI church mission overseas

- as there are claims of sexual exploitation & threats to ‘deal with’ persons in a twist of events straight out of a movie script

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – It has all of the elements of a ‘Nollywood’ movie: sex, lies, extortion and threats. And all this within a religious setting making the story-line even more scandalous.

A member of the church community in the Virgin Islands is embroiled in an alleged scandal of biblical proportions in a tale that seems to be one of love gone wrong, resulting in possible attempts at extortion and threats.

This news site has been sent a number of back and forth email correspondences pointing to allegations of broken promises and sexual exploitation.

It all stemmed following the visit of a group of persons mainly from a particular church in the territory involved in a humanitarian project in a country in Africa.

It is alleged that during a humanitarian mission, certain occurrences took place between rational, consenting adults.
However, this news site began to receive email complaints from a female purportedly from a certain country in Africa alleging sexual exploitation between a male of the church community in the territory and herself.

There are many allegations which this news site, being known for its good reputation, would not dignify or attempt to legitimise by mentioning them.

However, two of the allegations stand out from among the rest; the allegation of sexual exploitation and the counter allegation of extortion for monetary gain.

According to the email, the woman alleges that the male member of the church community in the VI had a sexual relationship with her and made certain promises that he allegedly failed to live up to.

However, the female in the scenario is seen making threats and demanding that a certain sum of money is sent to her.

When this news site made attempts reach the male person to whom the allegation of sexual extortion is made, we got no answer from his phone. We emailed the female purportedly from Africa as to her true intentions and her alleged threatening language witnessed in her earlier email and she responded, reiterating that she would “deal with” the person in question.

“My statement still stands…I'll personally deal with (name given),” she wrote.

In an earlier email, she demanded the sum of $5,000 be paid to her by the person whom allegedly had her attention while in Africa.

When we approached a senior member of the church to whom the male subject reportedly belongs, the person said it is a private issue between two adults and that we should seek responses from each of them.

“I think you should get responses from (name given). It is a personal matter between two adults and I don’t know what happened,” said the elder of the church.

Wrong story

The woman is also alleging that another news site got the story wrong. She said that it was one-sided and had factual errors.

“It's unfortunate that the (news site’s name given) published the wrong information without doing forensic investigations. A media house is supposed to only hide the identity of a person [for reasons] but give the people the correct news. They should have also [contacted] me either on Skype, telephone, or get a detailed Email from me, instead of getting [false] story from one side.

"They don't know that they can be sued for soiling/tarnishing my name? If you read the article it’s only based on one side,” she wrote in response to our inquiry.

The alleged victim of sexual exploitation said, “There is freedom of expression and if a media house publishes an article in their own interest, then it's too bad. They should be professional.”

This is not the first sexual issue in this church but the leadership likes to pat the heads of these sexual sinners 'some of which are on the pulpit preaching to the congregation' and wink their eyes at these matters, but God does not sleep and what happens in the dark (especially in God's Church will come out in the light). How can the leadership expect better from the congregation members if they are setting such an example, a child does what they see the father do. I want to see the church leaders defuse this woman's cries...'because she does not adhere to the local church's sexual exploitation cover-up status quo'. (If this is what it takes to bring God's church under submission then let God clean up the filth in His church for all to see.)

Those women of these poor countries like to use man for money. He shouldn't give her a dime. She enjoyed the pleasures of the sexual encounter just as much as he did

He did not go over there for that...he should have been forcused on doing God's work, but instead he became a servant of the devil.

Don't ever make promises to a woman and don't live up to those promises. Promises made has nothing to do weather she is from a poor country or not; a promise is a promise and if you know the true Africa you will never use that word poor in the way you are using it right now: do your research and stop making other men feel that women is just a 'thing' to be used!!

LUST (not love) gone wrong. And it (lust) most definitely must go wrong. Too much nastiness going on in this so called Christian society. This place full of Jezebel spirits and these rebellious spirits will without fail get what is coming to them. God CANNOT be mocked!

There are so much of these spirits roaming the church and many of them are preaching on the pulpit. The gift of Discernment of Spirits is available to 'true believers' but when you try to tell the leaders about it many of them are bound by the very same spirits and the kingdom of darkness do not fit against itself.

A man who does not love his wife does not love himself...per the word of the living God.

Further implications of that truth: a man who does not love himself surely cannot love another...it is impossible. One must first have love for themself and then they will be able to give true love.

Two sides to any story no doubt, but it does not seem very charitable or humanitarian for a man of the cloth to take advantage of local women. This happens the world over and the United Nations has similar issues with soldiers sent to Africa for security. The power of the dollar against poverty should not be exploited in this way.

...So any man in his church who wish to go on future mission trips may feel free to have sex with anyone they meet after doing God's work and his church feels that this is a private matter between the two. (Christian fellowship in the day in exchange for sex at night 'between two consensual adults', so this is the new world order of the church? sex for charitywork)

    1 Corinthians 5:1
1It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father's wife. 2You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst.…

God moves in mysterious ways and the devil at work too. WHILE OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS CARRYING OUT HIS DUTY SO DOES THE KING OF DARKNESS ALL LOOKING MEMBERS and the best place to do so is in the church. The spirit is weak but the flesh is willing.Who knows what was thrown into his food or drink or perhaps they put juju on him remember they are famous for this down there and no one is spared not even if you are a Man of God.

Who says that this man is a true believer? As we can see his righteous acts has become as filthy rags, after his deeds was exposed. If anything was placed in this man's cup it was most likely 'Viagra'....Keep being the devil's advocate instead of praying for these people's souls.
