Secret organizations influencing VI Govt’ – Edmund Maduro

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Amidst alleged life threatening warnings, talk show host Mr Edmund Maduro has accused the National Democratic Party (NDP) government of bowing to secret organizations that are allegedly influencing their decisions about the country.

This allegation was made on Mr Maduro’s television show, BVI Forum, on Saturday evening, September 28, 2013. “We have a number of secret organizations here in this British Virgin Islands, and people told me not to talk about it because they are going to take my life but I believe Jehovah God is more powerful than they are. Many of our elected Representatives belong to secret organizations and I would not be surprised to learn that all our elected representatives are members of these secret organizations,“ alleged Mr Maduro.

He further alleged that the influences of the secret organization extended to the VI’s judicial systems. According to his allegations, the influences are so strong that persons are prosecuted unjustly.

The talk show host further alleged that he was in possession of facts relating to decisions in the court systems that influenced a decision on the member’s part.

Mr Maduro spent a great part of his one hour show going back to the bible, quoting scriptures and principles of the bible as he claims that the governing of the Virgin Islands are at a stage that only Jehovah God can redeem it.

He reiterated the call once again for a fresh election to be held because the government of the day continues to "sink" the territory and in their doings are also guilty of victimising persons, denying persons the right to express their views and concerns, and audience with top bracket officials in the government system.

    No Government is run by the people, the whole election thing is just a game, a big hype and lots of party and promise that will never happen. No government is for the people, and all are run by high end organizations, who have some much money they can build the government is not for the people or will ever be for the people, for the people have no money to pump and push to the Government, but they rich have organizations that's make million

    Schruppps. Secret Organizations my foot...People in this little place never ceases to amaze me. It's a pity that more of our people don't take the opportunity to travel the world and discover new things. One of the things that are holding us back as a people is that we are small minded because we hardly travel outside the Virgin Islands or the region. My people there is a whole world out there just waiting to be discovered. People who lack knowledge are prone to believe whatever they are told or whatever they hear. Oh my people my people. I am terribly sorry for my people.

      I live in New York and the same talks goes around about the rich and powerfull especially the people in the entertainment industry. So please stop with this non sense that Virgin Islands people are small minded because they hardly travel. In the world we are living in now, you don't need to be world traveler to be informed. I agree that people who believes in these so called socities are a bit silly if you ask me but it grind my gears when you lump Virgin Islanders or any other nationality or group all in one with your reasoning.

    And? There is nothing you can do about it. As long as we have a society that stands for nothing and falls for everything we will always run the show. We are not hiding anymore, we especially love the lazy good for nothings who don't want to work hard for anything. We identify their usefulness then when we are done the are "gone" if you get what I'm saying.

    This should come as no surprise. Mr Maduro has hit the nail on the head. Why there is even a debate on this stated truth is beyond me. The Masons - Lodge are here and have been here. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are, and have been members for a long time. The new breed of masons have deep roots in the inner workings of the country, Goverment departments and stautory boards. The youth are being recruited and the female branch is growing daily. Masons at social functions are becoming commonplace, ownership of bars is common. When one places allegiance to a lodge oath over religion and political decency the country can not help but suffer.

    Mr Maduro should be commended for his courage.
