Can we please have some speed bumps installed at the bottom of Havers on the Sir Francis Drake Highway? There are always accidents there. Too many cars heading west overtake on that section of the road and anyone exiting Havers is confronted with an oncoming car on the wrong side of the road....

Speed bumps is not the solution. proper roads and educated cautious drivers is the answer.

Great suggestion but unfortunately, that will never happen. Looks like speeds bumps for the win.

Hope the helmet was strapped onto the riders head. I see many riders who do not , helmet no good to you if not strapped to your head.

Speed bumps cost money to install. The idea now is to let the pot holes grow. That will slow down traffic.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work... there were potholes there several months ago & the idiots were still driving too fast - driving in the center of the road to avoid the potholes heading west, and also passing other vehicles.

@???...Because we MUST have our cars and trucks..period! Trucks for carrying loads doing business. Cars for everything else transporting families to school, to work, food shopping, helping others get around like the sick, the elderly, as part of your job, keeping out of the weather, etc. Did you really ask that question? Accidents always happen with cars too, but scooter riders are very reckless so many times doing a wheely all the way from East End to town, I saw this myself, passing cars with a high rate of speed, I see that, passing on curves I see that, riding with no helmet, I see that too, but did you ever think about when they hit the ground, their unprotected bodies are sure to get very damaged or die? A car gives so much more protection.

I passed by just after it happened Before police arrived. He was lying along the left side of the road heading to town, bike in the road helmet was on the far side of the road. One of those bucket helmets that offer no protection. A lot of vehicles stopped to offer help

A lot of the bikes are repeatedly stolen/ fix up bikes. The energy of not earning it will always be attached.

Why are BVI kids so monumentally useless at riding scooters? You see accidents everywhere but in BVI it’s so often. Is there something making the kids here so much less skilled?
