WEST END, Tortola, VI - Virgin Islands News Online has been reliably informed that the son of former Commissioner of Police Mr Reynell Frazer has been the victim of a motor scooter accident.

Brent Frazer was allegedly the only person involved in the accident which reportedly occurred yesterday afternoon, December 28, 2013 in West End on the main Island of Tortola.

The scooter accident left the accident survivor with a broken left leg.

Specifics of how the accident happened remain unclear, but it is believed that the motor scooter may have malfunctioned and caused the rider to run off the road and collide with an object.

Police Information Officer Diane Drayton could not be reached as of press time for further information on the West End accident.

Mr. Fraser was taken to Peebles Hospital where he remains in the surgical ward with a broken leg and some minor cuts and bruises.

A source close to the situation told our news site that there are ongoing medical and family discussions on possibly sending Brent to St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands for further medical attention.

It is believed that the broken bone in the left leg may need to be spliced in order to correct the injury.

Reports indicate that Mr. Frazer is resting comfortably at Peebles Hospital and is very responsive and has received several visitors since, including family and friends and Third District Representative, Honourable Julian Fraser, RA.

Brent Frazer is the last child of former Commissioner of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Mr Reynell Frazer and Mrs. Ruth Frazer.

People with sense drive responsible. They do not drive like they do not have any sense. this is the reason why they need to be banned since you young boys do not know how to be responsible.

At least in a car you stand a chance. With a scooter your body is slammed n the pavement and as we all see now, they are dying and broken. No protection from sudden impact.
