ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Is the Follow The Movement (FTM) Group really the avenue for talented artistes in the Virgin Islands (VI) to receive the necessary exposure they need to make it to the top?

That question may simply be an elementary one now with the arrival of local singer, Ms Sasha Wintz in the ‘Big Apple’ of New York, USA last evening, May 11, 2014.

The singer with the golden voice is expected to make an appearance on the highly popular BET’s 106 & Park tonight, May 12, 2014 as well as the Music Matters showcase tomorrow, May 13, 2014.

Sasha is also expected to meet with music executives during her stay in the US over the next few weeks. BET’s 106 & Park airs tonight at 6PM Eastern Standard Time on the BET Network.

Sasha delivered a highly acclaimed and very commanding rendition of Jennifer Rush’s ‘Power of Love’ during a staging of the Who’s Next Finale of the Top 7@7 at the UP’s Cineplex Crystal Ballroom just over two months ago on March 8, 2014.

After stealing the show and winning over the audience during that performance, A&R Executive at RCA Records, Wayne Williams assured Sasha that she would be receiving his business card. BET’s Kelly Griffin also called her a star and invited her to the Music Matters showcase.

Organisers with the group told Virgin Islands News Online that everything is going well with the singer ahead of preparations for her appearance this evening and tomorrow.

I think the show last night was one taped before .She should be on the show tonight...The shows are taped the day before....however she would just have been a guest on the show..no interviews nor performance...She performs tonight on Music Matters @8:30pm
