@Taxi. You may be the very same thing you calling "taxi". It IS possible the taxi-man sped up to cut off the pickup. I see this behavior all the time. Without more evidence, they are both wrong.

I think your eye sight have a slight delay, cause it's obvious the pickup truck is in the wrong. Yes 1 car made the turn but driver miscalculated taxi distance and his speed ratio.

Looks like the pick up truck misjudged and cut across the Safari's path. People do that too much here. What is the hurry?!

You entitled to your Opinion but I’m this case Taxi Man will win this case, he has the right away, he’s on his side and traveling straight, the pickup cross in front of him, pickup driver was too hasty especially on that stretch of road, he was very careless and proceed with out due care

Yes Drakes, Not because you have the right of way does not means you cannot slow down a little and yield sometimes.

Thank you. This accident and many like this can be avoid if 1) drivers exercise being courteous on the road and 2) exercise some patience and drive with due care and attention. Some of us drive with rage and hatefulness; not paying attention to road safety. What is the rush? Some drivers need to stop act so reckless on theses roads.

The taxi man has the right of way but look the pick-up is almost off the road. The taxi man just need to touch his brakes and let the pick through. These Taxi men thinks they own the road, stopping any where, and swinging before you any time but they never think of easing up to let another car pass.

always remember the person on your right have the Right of way and as such the taxi should have stopped when seeing the first vehicle turning right. The driver of the black vehicle has liability also because his mover was also reckless

Every time I am coming from East to turn into Clarence Thomas, which is on my side of the road, I have my left turning signal on, breaking to go slow for my turn, and each time, the person driving behind me full speed, have to SKREECHHHHHHHHHHHHH to stop. I have a pick up truck, so they can clearly see my signals and reducing my speed tremendously. Tell me why are people always speeding down that road and tailgating? I don't know who was right or wrong in this case, but everyone needs to stop this speeding insanity.

The taxi driver may have had the right of way but we all know he was willful to hit the truck. I'm a bvilander but we are a country that is vengeful, hateful and it's not good. This accident could have been avoided but the taxi driver knows the law and he is playing it. As a driver we need to be considerate. But not in the BVI. I was going to say more but it makes no sense, we are lost as a nation.

Rules of the Road. When a driver is proceeding from a major road to a minor road or from a minor road to a major road the driver have to be absolutely sure that it is safe to do so. Now the pickup driver was proceeding East on a major road, he wanted to turn into CTL, so he has to cut across the left lane to do so, the safari was traveling westward on the left and was well in sight, the driver of the pickup had to cut across the safari but failed to exercise due care and attention and is the main contributor to the accident. It was the duty of the pickup driver to ensure that before he make that turn it was absolutely safe to do so. Those of you who look at the video, pay attention to that red Jeep Liberty that preceded the pickup. The driver of the pickup was focusing on that red Jeep and not the safari, because he saw the red Jeep went he thought he could have as well and caused the Accident. Pickup driver is guilty of driving without Due Care &Attention. If only he had wait until it was clear for him to cross there will be no accident.

Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder can see that the Pickup driver is dead wrong. He turned too quick. He is on the side for drivers that are coming out of Clarence Thomas. If someone was coming out where would they go? He would have hit them exiting. He tried to beat the Safari by cutting over too soon instead of going down further to the left with his indicator on and then turn when it was clear to do so.
A number of them like him drive stupid. A number of accidents could be avoided if people would use their common sense and drive with caution. A number of them need to get off the roads because they're going to kill innocent people.
