ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) hosted a highly successful International Food and Drinks Night event on February 26, 2014 at the Road Town Police Station.
The International Night, which was held as part of this year’s Police Week activities, featured Caribbean and International cuisine from seventeen different countries, including the Virgin Islands.
The event witnessed a massive turnout, with the who’s who of the VI arriving in support of the RVIPF’s fundraising initiative.
Police Week is held annually in the Virgin Islands and several observers remarked that this was one of the biggest turnouts for the International Night event in recent memory.
Persons were also able to enjoy Karaoke singing at the event if they so desired.
Activities continue this evening at 7:30PM with the popular Bingo Night where the big draw will be a whopping cash prize of $1500 as the first prize. Other prizes include flat screen televisions, trips and mobile phones. Food and drinks will also be on sale.
Police Week rounds out activities with its final event being the annual dog show slated for the Festival Village Grounds on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
