ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Rotary Club Sunrise of Road Town took on their usual annual feature of bringing Christmas cheer to patients, staff and otherwise visitors of Peebles Hospital on Wednesday December 9, 2015.

Several members of the club, along with students of the EarlyAct Club of the Althea Scatliffe Primary School (ASPS), lifted the spirit of those in the lobby area of the new Peebles Hospital with their lusty singing of Christmas carols.

In a brief interview with this news site, President of the club Ms Jeanette Scatliffe Boynes said it is the second year around that the EarlyAct Club has joined the Rotary Club Sunrise of Road Town in spreading Christmas cheer at the hospital.

"We do this every year. We enjoy this every time because we bring so much joy to those in the reach of our voice and to the patients who we distribute gifts to."

Many persons took time out from their intended schedule to join the group in singing in the hospital's lobby. Several also were attracted to the tall Christmas tree in the building.

The many gift bags placed under the towering Christmas tree made it even more attractive as several persons were seen posing for a photo opportunity before the gifts were taken to patients.

The Rotarians also spread similar Christmas cheer with residents of the Adina Donovan Home for the Elderly.
