VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI - When Dwite and Paola Flax opened the Rock Café on the sister island of Virgin Gorda some years ago, they knew it would have been one of the most popular and frequented venues on the island but they also had a dream to keep on 'wowing' their supporters with new and creative ideas.

Today they are all poised to pull the veils off two new initiatives they say are second to none in the Virgin Islands.

Speaking exclusively with Virgin Islands News Online, Mr Dwite Flax said this Saturday December 7, 2013 the opening of 'Club Ecstasy and Sports Bar' and the Tree House private recreational high fly facility will deliver the 'wowing' intended effect as well as introduce its people to an added touch of class.

The night club and sports bar sits on the upper flat of the existing building of Rock Café.

"This is something of class in every sense, real class, there will be strict rules when it comes to accessing the new club, security will be at an all time high and I am insisting that no underage persons allowed, strict dress code will be in effect because this is a place of top class," said the owner.

"It is not often that a new venue opens in Virgin Gorda, and this isn't just any venue but an amazing club with sound systems, lighting and some truly impressive features second to none in the international nightlife scene," he said, adding that the club will also contain four VIP settings.

"This is a venue for all, it something that I know the tourists will love but evenly it's for our local people, our people deserve to have access to class and that's what we are giving to our people and we just want them to appreciate and care and respect the club and the rules."

He said Club Ecstasy will offer entertainment for every age group through club events and other special activities. Wii nights for the kids and 40+ nights are some of the events that will also be featured. Sporting events such as football, basketball, and boxing will be advertised and announced weekly.

The grand opening night will feature entertainers from the VI as well as the USA. Entertainers will include DJ Wiz, DJ Bertrum, DJ Millenium King, and DJ Push Pop, along with VI Showtime, and the headliner will be DJ Flo from 106.7 FM Miami.

In line with the opening of the new club and sports bar is the thrilling tree house private recreational facility. "This was something that took us about five to six months to do and it is something for private bookings for anyone and everyone. Persons who want to have weddings, birthday parties or any social private event, this is the ideal place," said Mr Dwite Flax.

The tree house, he said, is a vision that has been brought to reality and gives a unique overhead view of the island, Rock Café and Club Ecstasy and Sports Bar. "Again I will stress that this is not only for tourists but for the people of VG, the people of Tola, the people of Anegada, it is for everyone. And for nights or days when there are no bookings it would be opened to be enjoyed. It has its own bathroom, kitchen, bar, lobby, dining areas and most of all it has its own staff down to a personal butler," explained Mr Flax.

The tree house uniquely sits on a massive century old tree classically perched between massive rocks which add to the ambiance and natural environment. From ground level it takes one up some 92 steps, complimented by a number of platforms, to the two-story tree house.

"This has every safety precaution in place; it was constructed by a great team of workers from Guyana and elsewhere in the Caribbean and North America. And the best thing is there was no machinery involved in this construction, it was built totally by hands and I know everyone will love it," he noted.

Mr Flax said he wants to encourage residents of the Virgin Islands to enjoy the facility and be assured that it is safe for all. The facility is open for tours and prospective clients. "It's going to be a rush right now so come early get your tour and make your bookings," urged Mr Flax.

Congrats Mr. Flax!!!!! IT's so great to see locals doing great things instead of complaining about how hard things are. You are an inspiration and I really hope other BVIslanders look at you and other business people and realize that WE RUN THIS! There's no limit when you think positive!

The only club that would have been worth waiting for is one that requires a dress code and minimal age requirement for entry, that is, with ID.
