Road racing resumes Sept 10 with Carrot Bay leg of Ceres 10K series

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Road Runners should be presently fine tuning their preparations for the resumption of the Ceres 10K Series on September 10, 2016.

The third race of the series will be held in Carrot Bay, where runners kick off in front of the Festival Ground, head to the foot of Windy Hill and turnaround to head all the way to Smugglers Cove and return to the starting line for the finish.

Both of the races so far were won by Julius Farley, who upset defending champion Reuben J.A. Stoby in the first race, which was held in Road Town.

Maria Mays and Melisande Rowe have a win each in the ladies division. Rosmond Johnson is the defending champion of the 10K series.

Meanwhile, the first race of the College Classic Series on Tortola is on September 17, 2016.
