LITTLE DIX HILL, Tortola, VI- It was about 1:30 PM today July 24, 2017 while our roving camera was passing the area of Little Dix Hill on the eastern side of Tortola, heading to the airport, that we observed a rental car, RT 2587, which appeared to have been involved in an accident and close to going over the embankment.

The front of the small vehicle was hit and a portion of it was hanging over the edge of the steep hill.

It is unclear what happened, how many persons were in the vehicle at the time of the incident and the condition of the driver; however, curious drivers, and at least one pedestrian, slowed up traffic to take some photos or to check to see if anyone had fallen over the mountain top.

There are no guard rails in that immediate area; however some rehabilitation works were done a few feet away to improve the roadway and drainage by Eighth District Representative Honourable Marlon A. Penn, who is also the Junior Minister for Trade and Investment Promotion.
