ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI-A record 40 children will be participating in the 11th annual Summer Sizzle BVI, which gets underway tomorrow July 25, 2019 and culminates on Sunday July 28, 2019.

Appearing on JTV Channel 55 on July 23, 2019, Founder and Director of Summer Sizzle BVI, Terry T. Donovan alluded to the large number of children participating as, “historic” as he credited those responsible for making it possible as Khaliah Clark, the Award winning celebrity fashion stylist; Sunnidal of Kids Fashion week; in addition to Advander 015; Dew Bee Jammin; Mia New York Clothing and Supper Rich Kidsss.

“We got 40 kids who will be showing on the runway, 40 kids, about 40 adults as well with about 25 females. It’s spectacular and we have models from the BVI, Puerto Rico, New York and Atlanta so it’s going to be spectacular all around,” said Mr Donovan.

The 11th edition of the fashion tourism event features two of the hit TV show, Project Runway, star designers Mondo Guerra and Korto Momolu. Guerra and Momolu will showcase their latest collection on The Global and Glamour Runway, alongside top regional and local designers including Giannina Azar from the Dominican Republic, Uzuri International from Jamaica, Shernica Myers from St Vincent and Grenadines, Norma Ebanks from Cayman Islands, Kristin C. Frazer, Andrea Wilson and  Akeem Stanley from the VI.

Children’s wear designer, Rochelle Ebanks from Cayman Islands, Andrew Harris and Andrew Nowell will complete the line-up for this year’s event.

Schedule

The full schedule of events includes the Welcome Culture and Style Party at D’Coal Pot BVI Restaurant Bar and Grill, Carrot Bay, Tortola on Thursday, July 25, 2019. The Global Glamour Runway Show on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Save the Seed Energy Center followed by the VIP After Party.

The event, dubbed as the fashion event of the year, will also feature international artist Citiboi and VI’s best entertainers and DJs performing.

The Sailing Excursion to Jost Van Dyke and Beach Party on Sunday, July 28 will culminate this exciting weekend of fun and fashion
