ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Word reaching our news centre from persons close to the newly formed Reform Action Alliance (RAA), is that they will not have any candidates in the 2019 General Elections.

The newest political party that was launched on January 1, 2019, had told the public that once the House of Assembly (HoA) had dissolved, they would have announced their four At- Large candidates.

Press release coming?

But word now, is that they have struggled to find candidates to run with their new party, however, instead they will endorse individual candidates for the February 25, 2019 polls.

Party founder and spokeswomen Ms Cindy L. Rosan-Jones when reached declined to comment but promised a press release will be issued later today.

Facts. Only in the BVI everyone want the laws to change to accommodate them. When they go to America or any other country, the just thankful to be there. Because we a pro us, its a problem. We don't have a problem going to another man's country and it being pro them. They always have the most negative things to say about BVIslanders but yet still, THEM still here. I know us BVIslanders don't stay anywhere we not happy and we don't go to another man's land and want everything change for us.

Why make all this noise and no action? We should known that something was up when the RAA was reluctant to reveal who it’s leaders were. Wasting our time. Who will be next to high tail it out of the battle; who will cut and run?

the spokesperson for the RAA claimed they had 50 members and supporters and I just found it strange that they were struggling to launch just 4 At-Large candidates. Selecting 4 out of 50 members and supporters should have been an easy task. My suggestion to the group is to stick together and try to do some fundraisers between now and next election 2023. I seriously think they put "the cart before the horse" on this one. It seemed rushed from the beginning. Good luck with your future endeavors!

Cindy already know she can't afford to resign from her Tourist Board job. You did the smart thing. Keep your day job and continue to hold the Gov't accountable on Facebook.
