Public's assistance sought in robbery of couple

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - RVIPF Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with any information into the robbery of a couple which took place outside the Struggling Man establishment on Saturday morning April 23, 2016.

Inquiries indicated that the two were seated outside just after midnight Saturday morning when two masked men with firearms approached them and demanded money. The male victim turned over all the money he had in his wallet and the assailants fled the scene.

Police are seeking persons who could assist with their investigations into this or the recent robberies to contact the Criminal Investigations Department through the RVIPF’s 311 number. Persons can also call the RVIPF Intelligence Unit directly at 368-9339 or the anonymous Crimestopper hotline number 800-8477.
