Project commencement ceremony held for Robinson O’Neal Primary School

NORTH SOUND, Virgin Gorda, VI- The project commencement ceremony for the reconstruction of the Robinson O'Neal Primary School in North Sound, Virgin Gorda, was held on Friday, February 23, 2018 on Virgin Gorda.

Minister for Education and Culture, Honourable Myron V. Walwyn (AL); Project Benefactor, Oil Nut Bay’s North Sound Foundation, Mr David V. Johnson; Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith (AL); and Representative for the Ninth District, Dr The Honourable Hubert R. O’Neal were present for the unveiling of the sign signaling the reconstruction of the school. 

The school sustained significant damage during the passage of Hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017.

Parents, students and teachers of the school were also present at the ceremony.
