Prince Charles begins his tour of the VI

EAST END, Tortola, VI- The Prince of Wales, Charles Phillip Arthur George, has begun his tour of the Virgin Islands with a visit to the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) in the eastern end of Tortola.

The Prince arrived at YEP minutes ago, along with Governor Augustus J. U. Jaspert, other officials and security personnel.

He was greeted by Director of YEP, Mr Stacey 'Buddha' Mather and children of the programme.

The Prince is also scheduled to visit the BVI Red Cross before attendng a public programme in his honour at Queen Elizabeth II Park in Road Town at 3:00 P.M.

The Prince of Wales visited Antigua yesterday, November 17, 2017 and will visit Dominica tomorrow.

His Royal Highness's visit comes following the widespread devastation in the region caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

During the tour The Prince of Wales will meet members of the local communities and hear about the ways in which they have been recovering since the storms hit the Islands.

    virgin islanders have o national pride,i bet if it was a member of any Caribbean country,there people would have been out there representing.since 1977 her majesty the queen has not visited these virgin islands.
