Premier Fahie away; Honourable Kye M. Rymer is Acting Premier

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) is away from the Territory attending the 26th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association Conference and Trade Show in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Deputy Premier, Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley (R9) is also away from the Territory attending the Financial Times Africa Summit.

Minister for Transportation, Utilities and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R5) is therefore Acting as Premier from October 21 until October 25, 2019.

Honourable Rymer's appointment is in accordance with the Virgin Islands Constitution Order, 2007 Section 55 (2) which states, “If both the Premier and the Deputy Premier are expected to be absent from the Virgin Islands for more than forty-eight hours, the Governor shall authorise another Minister designated by the Premier to perform the functions of the office of Premier; and the Governor shall revoke this authority on the return to the Virgin Islands of either the Premier or the Deputy Premier.”

    Seehe smle donr rrisr ir hwaer like rock not even 7months good and done ready to send them poor lady ar craft alive as they await the season for the ships to come ....as andrew expect morw ship this season. ...if the woman them willing who is willing to pay give them apayment plan some of them allrady strat paying some even borrow and take loan toclear up help them who willing to pay .....dont just throw them for those who allready start to pay

    Help them woman who craft alive how will to pay rent thing hard and you know it who a want pay deal with them you just gone there and ..you done ready to brig your cories vip surporter wicked .lol. the ndp wasnt so wicked .....we know gov. Need money but please.. them say they payment plan and many went to pay and hope they say nothing go so... the city manager need to be sac.for such . Kyme be the bibber person and sort things out.......ist not audit job ...you sort things out the proper way laeder say he for the people. So help them sort things out... have a heart

    If you are renting pay the darn rent. Too many times here in this country people feel like they are entitled to what they want when if comes to doing business with government, whether they are an employee or otherwise.
