NAIL BAY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Police on Virgin Gorda are said to be investigating reports of burglary on Sugarcane Restaurant in Nail Bay.

According to reports, a number of cheques have so far been reported missing.

The business establishment was discovered broken into something around 7:00am today August 13, 2020 when the first employee arrived for work.

It is alleged that the office area was discovered broken into and drawers and desks ransacked but only a few cheques which were stored away were missing.

Police are currently on the scene conducting investigations.

Our newsroom was told the incident will not interrupt the opening of the restaurant today.

    I really hope these lovely property have security cameras all over.
    These youngsters on a rampage stealing since they don't want to work.
    Not good for the VI image at all.

    please do something about the crimes happeng on a otherday basis you see somuch cry went out about the economy so people only thinking about money but in the process whom ever is doing these things should stop because you only going to look bad did you read the dock comment of the other news site well Dr pick you make a lot of people look at you in a diffrent lighi is maoney and the people ytou want come in the BVI is more important than safety and people health try stop and think God is given us a chance to recover but some of you who were in power and now out cannot see the logic and right even if it is plain as sunshine I think until the counrty has a very clear mandate keep people out because we have to pay the price I am not against no one but right now we have to stay protected even though they will be tested the contacts and connections can spread this virus so Prenier do what tge Lord leads you to do Look at next door st thomas they are just next door and have so much cases Dr, pick stiop looking from things from a money point of view yes we need money to function but consider people lives you have to be pratical when things happen they can come to your little hospital below the hospital Dr pick please be mindful we have a lot to loose so thonk again The Premier has a lot to deal with and three quaters of the issuse is what you and the others left there

    Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. I hope they catch the thieves and they are given a stern sentence. After all Mr Kellner did for the Island after the hurricane and this is how you repay him. SHAME on you. and if you're not caught by the police I hope your mother or father beats your ass ...very sad times indeed
