ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The following is the arrest blotter from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) from April 7 to April 13, 2019.

THEFT

On April 10, 2019, Police arrested and charged Kaseem Burrows, 24, of Purcell Estate for theft. He was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate's Court on May 22, 2019.

DRIVING WITHOUT DRIVER’S LICENSE

On April 11, 2019, Police arrested and charged Lina Maria Maya Barriento, a resident of Virgin Gorda, for Driving without a Driver’s License and driving an unlicensed vehicle and driving an uninsured vehicle. Barriento was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on May 6, 2019.

On April 11, 2019, Police arrested and charged Jose Guzman of Crabbe Hill, Virgin Gorda for driving without driver’s license, driving without crash helmet, driving unlicensed vehicle and driving an uninsured vehicle. Guzman was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on May 6, 2019.

On April 13, 2019, Police arrested and charged Owen Williams, 41, a native of Jamaica residing at Harrigan’s Estate for reckless driving and driving without a driver’s license, driving when not covered by insurance and driving an unlicensed vehicle.
