Police Arrest Blotter

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The following is the arrest blotter from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force from October 14 to October 20, 2012.

ASSAULT ON POLICE

On 14-10-2012 at 0835hrs, Police arrested and charged 21-year-old Jeremy Kuntz of North Sound Virgin Gorda, for the offence of Assault on Police and Use of indecent language.

THEFT

  1. On 20-10-2012 at 1113hrs, Police arrested and charged Heshborn Simmons and Javan James of Nottingham Estate. They were granted police bail in the sum of $5,000.00 signed with one surety each for their appearance at the Magistrate's Court on 09-11-2012.    
  2. On 18-10-2012 at 2310hrs, Police arrested and charged 15-year-old male of Duffs Bottom for the offence of Theft. He was granted police bail in the sum of $2000.00 with one surety for his appearance at Youth Court on 25-10-2012.  

 

HANDLING STOLEN GOODS

On 15-10-2012 at 1625hrs, Police arrested and charged Delbert Desmond Henry of Duffs Bottom for Handling Stolen Goods. Henry was granted police bail in the sum of $2000.00 with one surety, for his appearance in Magistrate’s Court on 25-10-2012.

BURGLARY

On 19-10-2012 at 1230hrs, Police arrested and charged a 14-year-old male of Belle Vue for the offence of Burglary. He was granted police bail in the sum of $5,000.00 signed with one surety for his court appearance at the Magistrate Court.
