ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Dozens of runners braved the tropical storm-like rains that swept the Territory yesterday Saturday May 10, 2014 to compete in the final race of the Blenheim Trust 5K Series, with Maxford Pipe taking the win.

In a sprint finish yesterday Maxford Pipe pipped Guy Williamson, for the second time in a week, at the line to win in a photo finish, although in the race dubbed “Ladies First” Dual Carriageway Dash Katrina Crumpler and Tallulah Kinkead actually beat the men to the finish line!

Pipe had defeated Williamson on Saturday May 3, 2014 during the Dive BVI 10K race in Virgin Gorda.

Some 55 hardy souls braved the elements for the glory of Mrs. Robinson’s world famous banana bread and a trophy.
