Pickup truck falls off road @ Manuel Reef

MANUEL REEF, Tortola, VI- A pickup truck that was reportedly parked on the side of a road above the thoroughfare adjacent to the Mark Simmonds Marina at Manuel Reef, Tortola, fell on to the road below yesterday, May 7, 2019.

According to reports reaching this news site, no one was in the vehicle at the time of the incident, which occurred around 6:30pm.

There were no reports of injuries or any other damages apart from what was sustained by the pick-up truck.

“It could have been a disaster since it fell into a very busy place,” an individual who was on the scene of the incident stated.

Coincidentally, the mishap took place in the vicinity of an accident involving an SUV and a small car on May 5, 2019.

    What's up with that corner recently? Not only this accident follows one on May 5th but not too long before that a truck slid off the same hillside road adjacent to the corner. What a ting!

      Parked too close to the edge probably didn’t have the emergency brake on. Glad no one was hurt. This could have been a terrible disaster.

      You'd be better off asking Jesus to fix the infrastructure that's literally crumbling under our feet (wheels)
