ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - It was yesterday Friday, February 1, 2019, while both Fourth District Candidates, incumbent Hon Mark H. Vanterpool of the National Democratic Party (NDP 1) and his main challenger Mrs Luce D. Hodge-Smith from the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) cross paths.

They met at Hon Vanterpool’s favourite new spot in Road Town where he was recently seen sitting next to the Methodist Church graveyard adjacent from the Seventh-Day Advance Church.

Both candidates greeted each other, hug and even took a photo in the spirit of comradery.

Myron Walwyn needs a lesson!

Maybe Hon Vanterpool can give his leader Hon Myron V. Walwyn (AL) a lesson in humility, and unity, about politics, because sitting on different sides, does not mean you are the enemy.

It can go a far way in lifting Mr Walwyn’s political character of being the most divisive person in the history of Virgin Islands politics.
