Pearls pass from one Miss BVI to Another!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Miss BVI 2014/2015 Jaynene Jno-Lewis was today September 3, 2014 decorated with Little Switzerland's $3K pearls at the jewellery store’s Road Town location continuing the tradition which is now three years old.

The Mikimoto pearl set from Little Switzerland comprises a necklace and matching earrings which were previously worn by former Miss BVI Rosanna K. Chichester during her reign.

On hand to witness the passing on of the prize gift were Public Relations Officer of the BVI Festival and Fairs Committee Ms Lynette L. Harrigan, BVI Tourist Board’s Kevis Hughes and Little Switzerland’s Manager Ms Margaret M. Petty.

The company, which is said to possess the finest jewellery in the Virgin Islands, made the presentation in keeping with its commitment to the promoters of the pageant.

For Little Switzerland pearls are royal and most fitting for the Queen and with this in mind Ms Jno-Lewis promised to wear the treasure with pride and dignity.

She was advised by the former Miss BVI Rosanna K. Chichester that her reign will not be one without challenges but will require her full dedication and focus to the road ahead.

Ms Harrigan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management of Little Switzerland for honouring its commitment as they continue to build on their partnership and wished Ms Jno-Lewis success in her endeavours.

    Why Ms. BVI have to post the Value of the pearls on her Facebook which is $4000.00, however I’ve never seen no other queen did such act, come on!!
