PE teacher Kendale P. Thomas deported to the USA!

-Information on why the US State of Colorado wanted the model Virgin Islands resident & Elmore Stoutt High School Physical Education teacher remains unclear
Elmore Stoutt High School Physical Education Teacher Kendale P. Thomas was deported on January 2, 2015 from the Virgin Islands to Denver, Colorado USA. The full details for the deportation is not yet known, however, USA Law Enforcement officials told our newsroom the sensitive matter follows a sting operation a few years ago. Kendal P. Thomas was a Physical Education teacher at the Elmore Stoutt High School for over 6 years. He has been praised by his peers and students for being a model teacher, dedicated to duty, humble and a team player. His teaching career ended in December 2014 when his appointment was not renewed. ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Information just into our newsroom from our many well placed sources within the National Democratic Party (NDP) administration and in parts of the United States Law Enforcement community today confirmed that Elmore Stoutt High School Physical Education teacher Mr Kendale P. Thomas was deported from the Virgin Islands to the United States of America yesterday January 2, 2015.

Mr Thomas, who has been teaching Physical Education (PE) for some 6 years at the largest public secondary school in the Virgin Islands (VI) located on the main Island of Tortola, was picked up by police and immigration officials at his home in Fat Hogs Bay on the Eastern end of Tortola, according to police sources.

Mr Thomas was then placed on a Road Town Fast Ferry vessel that departed Road Town to St Thomas, USVI, for onwards destination to the US State of Denver, Colorado, according to police officers close to the matter.

When pressed by our newsroom as to under which law Mr Thomas was deported from the territory by the United Kingdom appointed Governor John S. Duncan OBE, we were told that it is a section of the Immigration Act (Sec 40) that allows the governor to deport persons who are deemed a threat to public safety.

Why was he deported to the USA?

With local law enforcement officials tight lipped about the matter, this news site’s well placed sources in the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington DC also confirmed the deportation and claimed that there was an open warrant for Mr Thomas’ arrest after he left Denver a few years ago.

While not wanting to go into full details on the phone, the source said Mr Thomas was allegedly caught up in a sting operation on a sensitive matter a few years ago and said he could not go into any further details, as there are “official channels to get information on these matters”.

He also confirmed that Mr Thomas had left the USA before the matter was resolved so his case file was opened.

Mr Thomas- a model citizen in the VI

Mr Thomas, who is originally from St Vincent and the Grenadines, lived with his father- a long time resident and businessman- on Tortola. Mr Thomas is also the father of a young daughter.

The former PE teacher has been praised by many of his peers, and students as a model resident and teacher. He has never been accused of committing any crime while residing in the Virgin Islands over the many years and has a clean police record, according to our sources close to the situation.

Many were shocked when around November of 2014 Mr Thomas received a letter from the Department of Education not renewing his teaching tenure at the High School and brought a premature end to his over 6 years plus teaching career in December of 2014. In addition, many of his fellow PE teachers complimented Mr Thomas for his dedication to duty and his love for sports, and young people, and for being humble and a team player.

Efforts by our newsroom to reach local officials, including the Ag Principal of the Elmore Stoutt High School Mrs Sandy M. Underhill, Ag Chief Immigration Officer Ian B. Penn and Governor of the Virgin Islands John S. Duncan, proved unsuccessful up to post time.

I am not concerned about what Mr.Thomas did. My concern is about the legality of this proceeding. A person residing in the B.V.I. with a foreign nationality is wanted by US authorities. A warrant was in effect and he was deported to the US? I thought that when someone is deported they are sent back to their country of origin unless Mr.Thomas is a US Citizen. If not then he was simply handed over to the US authorities and not deported. So my question is weather this is legal or not. Am I missing something here? Where is Mr. Constitution?

Interesting point you raise. Mr. Thomas is a legal resident in the US not a citizen, you're absolutely right. This cannot be deportation if he was handed over to the US. I'm not too familiar with the British legal system. I sure would like to know if that's legal, and if it is, then he wa not deported.

Mr. Thomas was not deported, he was extradited. There was a warrent for his arrest in the US. Just relax and it will all come out soon. He knows what he is wanted for.

It's already out why there was a warrant for arrest, and it's definitely not what you people think. That's all I can say for now.

Ok. He had a warrant out for his arrest, so what, in the states you can have a warrant for owing child support, if you're summoned for a court case and didn't show up, parking tickets, have a warrant does not necessarily means you're a threat to society.
