One Week left to owning Digicel’s 2nd Car

“Over the past nine weeks, our customers having been taking the opportunities to scratch and win 1000’s of prizes like phones, credit, 4G data and promotional items. Each card is also a chance to gain entry to our grand finale where twelve (12) finalists will compete, and one lucky Digicel customer will win a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport said Digicel’s Jasmine A. ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Standing on the opposite side of the Digicel Flagship store in Road Town yesterday, there was a moment of reminiscence at the scene of Ms Ackisha R. Chiddick walking away with a brand new Suzuki vehicle.

“Miss you looking that car so, you want it eh,” were the words of a passerby that brought me back to reality but not letting that moment go to waste I stepped into the store to join the many others to get the scratch to win experience.

It was there that this news site’s reporter caught up with Digicel’s Jasmine A. Perez, Marketing Public Relations Executive who brought reality closer to home, “One week to go ma’am, [in] one week that car can be yours,” she said.

After taking the scratch experience the excitement others might be feel was felt. After the first scratch it was a $65 free Digicel to Digicel. “The more you scratch the more chances you have,” said Ms Perez and so I fell for the bait and scratched another.

She said that the Digicel Summer  Scratch and Win promotion offers ALL Digicel Subscribers (new, existing, prepaid & post-paid) a chance to win 1000’s of prizes with reward scratch cards when they top up $15 or more, pay their bill on time and in full, join Digicel or sign up for any Digicel 4G service.

“Over the past nine weeks, our customers having been taking the opportunities to scratch and win 1000’s of prizes like phones, credit, 4G data and promotional items. Each card is also a chance to gain entry to our grand finale where twelve (12) finalists will compete, and one lucky Digicel customer will win a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport,” she explained.

But just how will this work? Twelve (12) customers will be chosen by Digicel to participate in the grand finale for a chance to win a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. All customers chosen from reward scratch cards will be checked in advance to confirm that an eligible top up, sign up or pay up transaction has taken place.

Five (5) customers will be chosen at random from the raffle drum at the Digicel store on Aug 20. Three (3) customers will be chosen live at the grand finale at the Digicel store in Road Town on Aug 21 from top up, activations and bill payment in store that day. Two (2) Post-paid customers will be chosen at random at the Digicel Office on Aug 20. One (1) online top up customer chosen at random at the Digicel office on Aug 20 and one (1) Facebook fan chosen by page interaction on Aug 20.

Shortly after walking out of the store in a dream of winning the top prize this year, I bet the red Suzuki I saw driving along Water Front drive was that of the 2013 winner Ms Ackisha R. Chiddick.

Isn't this the 3rd vehicle Digicel will be giving away? I remember there was a small red car that they had parked inside up for grabs 3 or 4 years ago.
