POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI - The driver of an ill-fated Suzuki is said to have suffered injuries to some parts of her upper body this morning August 25, 2014 when she allegedly crashed into a parked vehicle at Pockwood Pond.

According to information reaching this news site the accident occurred shortly after 8:00 am. It is alleged that the driver of the white Suzuki vehicle apparently lost control causing it to careen off the road hitting the red vehicle.

From the impact the red vehicle crashed into the blue vehicle which was also parked alongside the road.

It was not clear if either of the two parked vehicles had any occupant/s in them at the time.

One eye witness told this new site that traffic officers need to patrol the stretch of road from West End to Sea Cow's Bay on a more regular basis as persons tend to engage in excessive speeding especially in early morning rush for work.

Sorry this had to happen but honestly in every part or tortola people tend to rush to work in the mornings. So i wont be specific as to what part .. just let officers be ready to patrol every morning in all areas. However i do whish the lady who is hurt a speedy recovery.
