One injured in lone vehicle accident @ Pockwood Pond

POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI- One person was taken to Peebles Hospital following a lone vehicle accident at Pockwood Pond, on the main island of Tortola, last night, August 18, 2017.

It is unclear how the accident occurred; however, the vehicle ended up on its side.

Police Information Officer Diane L. Drayton confirmed the incident, which occurred sometime before 11:00 P.M.

"One person was taken to hospital. It was a lone vehicle accident," Ms Drayton told this news site.

The condition of the injured person is not known to this news site at this time.

    If they would learn to be more careful with the vehicles and the roads then they will learn wen to stop the speeding, stupid driving, and etc. Then nobody wouldn't be loosing their out in the streets that contains with driving.

    It was a rock which came down from the hillside. The driver acted well to be alive and not in the water with his passengers.
