SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The Sea Cows Bay Basketball Club (SCBBC) will be hosting a free Referee Clinic at the Albion Basketball Court in Sea Cows Bay, Tortola, today, Saturday June 29, 2019.

The clinic, which runs from 9:00 AM--12:00 PM, will be facilitated by FIBA certified referee Mr Norval A. Young of Virgin Gorda.

Persons 16 years and older are invited to participate. For more information, persons can contact President of the SCBBC, Mr Milton C. McLean at 345-0555.

“We are trying to fill a void because there is a referee shortage,” Mr McLean told Virgin Islands News Online, adding that those attending the clinic will receive a certificate of participation.

Meanwhile, the SCBBC will also be hosting a Baseball and Basketball (B&B) Clinic from July 5-18, 2019 in Sea Cows Bay for 6-12 year olds.

Basketball will be held from 9:00-11:45am while Baseball will run from 1:30-3:30pm.

Registration cost for each sport is $25.00. Cost for both is $50.00. Registration deadline is Wednesday July 2, 2019.
