ROAD TOWN, Tortola VI – The CCT store was filled to capacity earlier this afternoon for two reasons, for persons to get their selfies with soca sensation Machel Montano and at the same time to grab the opportunity at free tickets for tonight’s Carrot Bay show.

Ms Janet N. Brin, Marketing and Public Relations Manager of CCT was very excited about the turnout and the welcome and greeting they got from Montano and his team from the moment they entered the store.

Persons, in a very orderly manner, shared in that excitement as they were among the first to get their photographs taken with the master of soca.

Speaking with Virgin Islands News Online Montano said that the anticipated crowd tonight can expect nothing but high energy performances by himself and his new HD dancers.

“Well tonight our show [will feature] our new hit songs, songs from the past, classic hits and you know of course a full energy show [and] high energy performance. We coming fresh off of Carnival and Caribana,” he told reporters.

He said that along with celebrating with the people of the Territory he and his band are looking forward to celebrating with the 2014 Soca power and groovy Monarchs, the calypso queen and other artistes both local and international that are on the line up for tonight.

From the Virgin Islands Montano said they are heading straight to Grenada for Carnival there tomorrow August 9, 2014.

On the spot with Montano and his team was Chairman of the Carrot Bay Festival Committee Mr Stewart Donovan who said, “It can and it will fit everyone,” as he responded to Ms Brin’s concerns of the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta having the capacity to fit every one that is expected to turn up for the show tonight.
