ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A group of talented young dancers of the Territory have embarked on a project to create a dance video featuring bits and pieces of songs from Beyonce Knowles’ latest album with the aim of pushing the talent of Virgin Islands dancers, choreographers and video production persons.

Speaking to Virgin Islands, Dwayne C. Mactavious said #ProjectYonce is a celebration of Beyonce’s self-titled album released December 13, 2013.

“Fifteen of some of my talented Caribbean friends jumped onboard my project which is essentially an extended trailer of sorts, exhibiting various choreo clips featuring different choreographers/dancers as well as various locations on Tortola, VI,” said Mactavious.

“With this project, I wanted to create a dance video production that would go viral and help push social media popularity for the 15 local talented individuals involved and put the BVI on the map,” he said.

“It was my opportunity to learn firsthand what goes into the backend of production; a side that I've always been intrigued by but never fully involved in,” he said.

He noted that essentially it's a 'community' project, exhibiting various choreo clips featuring different choreographers/dancers as well as various locations on Tortola.

“I wanted the chance to work with these individuals and the overall process helped us to build character and gave those involved a glimpse into some of what goes into these types of recorded productions,” he said.

“Hope you enjoy! Please Like/Subscribe/Share,” said Mactavious. You can view the video here: http://youtu.be/L74MiLk25Rg

To for real and the other simple minded idiot. When you put stuff out to the public you should expect praise but also accept any criticism that comes with it. It's really stupid to get upset with someone's opinion especially when its based on preference.

While is true that everyone is entitle to their opinion on what ever... One does not just say " It wasn't spectacular"... You should also say why isn't "Spectacular" (To you that is) and encourage the person on what to do next time to make it more "Spectacular"... Sometimes when you just say things like It was "Wack, Dunm, etc etc." It can come across as if you hating.. So if you really stating your "opinion" also state why and encourage your fellow virgin islander to better next time.
