    Good news for the territory this morning. I would like to congratulate the government for this move. May be in the future plans will be implemented to ensure everyone wears a face mask and open the territory for the full twenty four hours. We have seen in other countries where the residents are so disciplined and observed the protocols that are implemented.

    I would like to suggest that the government to consider a Port Health base at the Ports of Entry to screen passengers entering and leaving the territory. It should be mandatory for ALL PASSENGERS entering and leaving the territory to produce a valid Health Certificate from a government Heath Department and not from private doctors and that will allow for free movement of persons. This certificate should be obtained forty-eight hours before entering or leaving the territory. If my suggestion is accepted we will be able to have free movement of people in the territory.

      (i) for the first breach, issue a fixed penalty notice requiring the person to pay a fine of one hundred dollars and to attend such mandatory training as may be specified in the notice; and

      (ii) for any subsequent breach, issue a fixed penalty notice requiring the person to pay a fine of two hundred dollars;

      (b) in the case of an establishment, (i) for the first breach,

      (A) issue a fixed penalty notice requiring the owner or operators to pay a fine of one thousand dollars, and

      (B) a notice for temporary closure, subject to such mandatory training and to implementation of such corrective measures as may be specified in the notice;

      (iii) for a second breach,

      (A) issue a fixed penalty notice requiring the owner or operators to pay a fine of two thousand dollars; and

        How is the beach from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the curfew ends at 5? I hope if I am seen leaving the beach at 5, the police would not give me a fine. Hon. Malone, please clarify.

    It must feel really good to know that whether you work 8 hrs, 4 hrs or 0 hrs you still get your full salary. It must be really nice to be able to say "be patient, we are in this together". REALLY??? Do some of you listen to yourselves or have a conscience??? There are people who haven't worked for MONTHS!!! Their employers can't pay them, Social Security isn't paying them... What are they to do? If "we are in this together" how about all government employees take a salary cut and have those funds appropriated to those in need! People are SUFFERING. If the people who are still employed and being paid are complaining about the cost of living, imagine what the people with no income are going through. There has to be a plan to move the country forward. Saying that people all over the world are suffering does nothing for the people who are suffering here ESPECIALLY WHEN IT ISN'T AFFECTING YOUR POCKET!!!!!

    Nobody has explained how limited hours outside your house helps with COVID cases. I can understand leaving bars and clubs closed but if they're closed why are we having a curfew where people are allowed out together for a certain period then back home? What is the point? It makes no sense and it's killing the economy.

    What is the plan to open the boarders so our tourist based economy can maybe live? People are waiting for some strong leadership that works with the community.
