ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VIN - It’s a common cry heard around the BVI: there’s either nothing to do or too many things to do on the same weekend. With those challenges in mind, www.tolavibes.com aims to provide an on-line service to help the weekend warrior, partier and persons discerning great and wholesome entertainment with a place to find everything entertaining in one place. The site has already been soft launched and has been populated with pictures of several past events.

“We saw a need to create a living, vibrant, on-line community to capture the different entertainment  events  in  the  country,”  said  site  creator  and  Event  Guru  of www.tolavibes.com Leonardo Callwood. “What I like about the site most is our ability to go to a party or any event and capture the moments that make it great and sharing it with people who missed it and especially those who were there, because we know people want and love to see themselves especially when they look fly.”

The new on-line site is the first of its kind in the Virgin Islands and will create a platform for different groups to share their events with the community, as well as an almost same-time picture collection of  those events. Event organizers  will have a platform  to upload event flyers, invitations and information for the interest of the Virgin Islands community while the site operators will provide a snapshot timeline of the hottest events happening across the Virgin Islands and essentially creating on-line albums of each event.

The site is not limited to only parties;  www.tolavibes.com will cover corporate events, education-minded events and Christian-centered events as well.

“Each member of the team has a niche focus. While parties will attract a large part of the site’s attention, we aim to cover all types of events like concerts, church conventions, pageants,  wine  tastings,  and  even  more  private  moments  like  weddings  and  birthday parties. We want everyone to have access to this site, especially non-profit organisations so that they can promote events for change and other events that matter to our people. There will be no cost for ads placed for non-profit organisations for events that are non-income generating and other advertisers can choose advertising packages that best suit their budgets,” said Mega Marketing and Fun Sales Coordinator for  www.tolavibes.com Kareem- Nelson Hull.

The site is designed in an easy-flowing layout that makes searching for events easy. The categories will be Entertainment News, Events, Photos, Videos and Audio. Every time someone visits the site they will also be introduced or serenaded by a playlist of local artist music only.  The site  will  also highlight  entertainment  news  captured from  local media sources in some instances and pictures from local photographers. Site owners Leonardo Callwood, Trevor Millington and Kareem-Nelson Hull all intend to use the site as a resource tool for local talent as well, and thus photo collections from local photographers and videos from local production companies will all appear on the site with credit going to the creators in hopes that the Virgin Islands community will in turn support the talented persons who showcase their work on the site.

“We hope event organisers, government and churches alike feel able to use the site as a venue to keep people informed of their events and not only to use the site to invite people to come to the event, but to share their photos with everyone who came and to those who could not come because they were at another hot event promoted by the site or for those living abroad,” said Technical Director at  www.tolavibes.com Trevor Millington.

www.Tolavibes.com will revolutionize the way people search for events in the BVI as the site has already attracted 3,000 hits per day with over 500 unique users before its hard launch. Advertisers can contact the site for information using the Contact button provided on the site.
