CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI – While the tension in communities across the Territory is rising as it relates to the current economic status of the economy and the hardship it is bringing on a daily basis with it, persons are being consoled and assured that better days are coming.

That is an assurance that the Representative for the First District Honourable Andew A. Fahie is giving especially residents and entrepreneurs of his district and he has it all well planned out how this is going to happen.

Hon Fahie has been a constant loud voice on all fronts for the people who he was elected to represent and by large all the people of the Territory as he sees himself as a voice for all. He has repeatedly said to this news site that while he gives a voice to the issues that have this Territory in its current state it would necessitate a change in government for them to physically see better days as the NDP has failed and continues to fail.

He is expected to deliver his report to his district and the rest of the Territory this Saturday when he presents his Annual First District Report with the theme being “Let’s Get it! A better day is coming”.

“I am Andrew A. Fahie, your First District Representative, a member of team VIP. I am inviting you, my people of the 1st District and my people of the entire BVI to Capoon's Bay Recreational Grounds, on Saturday January 24 at 7:30 pm for the Annual First District Report," he said to this news site via social media communications.

He also said, “First, join us at Fort Recovery at 6:30pm to commence our grand motorcade through District One and ending at the Capoon's Bay Recreational Grounds for the delivery of the Annual First District Report.”

It was just last week Saturday January 10, 2015 that Chairman of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Honourable Julian Fraser, RA (R3) had told his patrons and others present at his annual district party that it is necessary that all band together to support his party member, Hon Fahie for the event.

It has always been a clear indication despite the nay-sayers, that the members of the VIP has been and continues to be a strong team working together with one common goal, that is, to get the NDP out of government and the VIP in as they see it as the only way to save the Territory.

It's all very well sounding off about what the NDP has or hasn't done but it doesn't tell us what you would have done or will do in the future! It's all just noise, like the motorcade.

Will we accept an NDP economy where only a few of us do spectacularly well, or will we commit ourselves to an VIP economy that generates rising incomes and chances for everyone who makes the effort?

I'm sure Andrew Fahie will give a lovely, compelling speech Saturday night. But the real centers of power in our country, The White Bosses, the Cays, the rich Expats, the media etc. aren't too nervous. The system will still work for them tomorrow.

The list of the VIP accomplishments is long, and the NDP approval ratings are on the decline. Fraser economic proposal will pulled us out of the worst economy since the depression, and its about time voters recongnize by giving him some credit for it, as he deserves that why he should be the next Chief of the BV!.
